The Piston Pump is a single cylinder, double action, surface pump (non-submersible), featuring a safety relief valve/overload protection and capable of 20 ft. of suction (self-priming to 8 ft.).
The Piston Pump can be controlled by a float switch, or optionally, by using a pressurized tank with switch to supply a pressurized pipeline, which can serve single or multiple outlets.
This pump is fully serviceable and has reasonable tolerance to potentially abrasive, fine particles in the water. As a non-submersible positive displacement pump it does require freeze protection. The pump is portable and can easily be relocated.
